Baby Elephant Misbehaves and Gets Left Behind
In the heart of the African savanna, a playful baby elephant named Kito loved causing trouble. While the rest of the herd followed their matriarch’s lead, Kito often wandered off, splashing in watering holes and chasing birds instead of keeping pace.
One afternoon, the herd was on the move to find fresh grazing lands. But Kito, too distracted by a group of mischievous monkeys, refused to listen to his mother’s warning calls. He trumpeted excitedly, trying to chase the agile primates, but they always leaped out of reach. By the time Kito realized his mistake, the herd had moved far ahead, disappearing into the tall grass.
Panic set in as the little elephant found himself alone. The once-thrilling adventure now felt terrifying. Shadows stretched across the plains, and strange noises filled the air. Just as Kito began to cry out, his mother’s familiar trumpet echoed in the distance. She had returned with the matriarch to find him.
Reunited, Kito nuzzled against his mother, realizing the importance of listening. From that day on, he stayed close to the herd, still playful but much wiser, never wanting to be left behind again.
